Let’s be real—so much of motherhood is trial by fire. With my first baby, I was constantly Googling at 2am, scrubbing bottle parts in a fog, and crying over spilled breastmilk (literally).
Now with two kids, I’ve picked up a few tricks that I wish someone had told me the first time around. So I’m sharing them here—no fluff, no pressure, just the little things that have actually helped in the chaos.

1. Get a Second Spout for the Formula Pro

The Baby Brezza is a dream until you have to stop everything to clean the filter spout every 4 bottles. Having a second one on hand means one is always dry and ready to go = no interruptions when you need that bottle now. Can use code KEE15OFF for 15% off as well.

2. Hate the Merlin? Try a Transition Sack

Some babies hate the bulky feel of the Magic Merlin sleep suit (my first did great with it, my second hated it). A transition sleep sack with a snug tummy wrap offers that same secure feeling without all the bulk—and you can leave one arm out to start the swaddle-to-sack transition gradually.

3. Toss a Towel in the Dryer During Bath

One of my favorite newborn tips: throw a towel in the dryer while you bathe your baby. Wrapping them in something warm afterward makes the post-bath routine feel calmer and cozier. Bonus tip – try my towel warmer (and use it for yourself too!).

4. Nighttime Diapers + Magnesium Lotion = Sleep Magic

Nighttime diapers help avoid those 3am outfit changes. They keep them drier for longer aka longer sleep stretches. For sizes below 3, try these booster pads, once they get to a size 3 you can get nighttime diapers. And magnesium lotion on the bottom of their feet? Total game changer for sleep.

5. Descale Your Sterilizer with Vinegar

No need for expensive descaling solutions—just use white vinegar in your Baby Brezza sterilizer. It’s non-toxic, effective, and way cheaper. See my how-to video here.

6. Use the Milk Stash App + a Freezer Bin

When you’re pumping, tracking what milk to use next can be chaos. The Milk Stash app + a simple freezer organizer bin keeps your stash sorted by date and helps avoid waste.

7. Sneak Veggies into Toddler Meals

One of my favorite lazy mom hacks: mix a veggie pouch into a cup of mac & cheese (I love this high protein one). They’ll never notice, it’s one less food fight, and sneaky veggies.

8. Need Sleep Help? Try This Custom Hack

I made a custom ChatGPT sleep training hack that walks you through how to create a sleep schedule based on your baby’s age and your lifestyle.

9. Want My 10-Min Meal Roundup?

No time, no energy, but still want to feel human at dinner? I’ve rounded up my go-to 10-min meals that are toddler-friendly, balanced-ish, and save me from ordering takeout again.
